Production Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing problem-solving on the assembly and test floor
• Design and build small mechanical fixtures, jigs, and line-side improvements using CAD and hands-on methods
• Help develop and validate process changes through data collection and simple DOEs
• Create and update work instructions, visuals, and training materials
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D teams
• Maintain tidy change documentation and links to ECNs/incidents

Requirements

• Currently studying Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar)
• Desire for hands-on learning in a real production environment
• Clear communication skills and attention to documentation detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic GD&T and tolerance awareness
• Exposure to manufacturing, process engineering, quality, or automation
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Python
