Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee sheet metal manufacturing processes including cutting, punching, bending, welding, and assembly
• Monitor production operations and manage multi-shift teams on the shop floor
• Coordinate effectively with Technical Office, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials departments
• Analyze operational KPIs and prepare detailed technical reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction projects
• Ensure production meets technical parameters and manufacturing standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
• 0–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical supervisory role
• Proven knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing sequences and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operational specifications
• Familiarity with nesting optimization and waste reduction techniques
• Knowledge of ERP or MES systems
