Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure manufacturing processes meet SHE, quality, productivity, and cost targets
• Establish and maintain control of process metrics including cycle time, productivity, uptime, and yields
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen, 6S, etc.)
• Provide direct engineering support to production to ensure products meet SOP/PCD and quality standards
• Manage process safety obligations, including participating in PHAs, MHAs, MOCs, and PSSRs
• Maintain and update control documents such as SOPs, MSOPs, WIs, recipes, and BOMs
• Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineers to resolve customer issues and quality escapes
• Identify root causes of process deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Composite or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with customers, operators, and suppliers
• Proven problem-solving abilities and high motivation to handle complex situations
