Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for assigned production units
• Perform technical reviews and evaluations of unit operations through data monitoring and analysis
• Develop and champion process improvements to enhance unit performance and reliability
• Maintain process safety information, including procedures, technical documentation, and drawings
• Coordinate maintenance activities, scheduling, and preventive maintenance compliance
• Support project engineering activities including new installations, startups, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement effective solutions
• Participate in emergency response activities including fire brigade and hazmat response

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chemical Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of chemical plant manufacturing experience
• Experience leading projects, startups, and commissioning activities
• Strong understanding of chemical plant operations, reaction mechanisms, and heat transfer
• Experience with PSM/RMP-covered processes, including PHA and MOC
• Strong safety background in a hazardous chemical processing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ERP/CMMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Chempax, or Maximo
• Ability to interpret process drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
