Production Engineer - Mechatronic Systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality
• Design and implement manufacturing tools, equipment, and procedures
• Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure product manufacturability
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and prototype development
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) and safety regulations
• Maintain detailed manufacturing documentation and technical reports
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Provide technical guidance to the production team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Inventor)
• Understanding of aerospace materials, composites, and CNC machinery
• Knowledge of quality control, statistical process control, and inspection techniques
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
