Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop production processes to ensure efficient and stable manufacturing
• Identify, analyze, and implement improvement measures within production, quality, and logistics
• Participate in industrialization projects and contribute to the introduction of new products, processes, and equipment
• Work with process standardization, work instructions, and production preparation
• Conduct root cause analyses, risk analyses, and quality investigations to reduce deviations
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, design, and procurement functions
• Utilize LEAN methodology and continuous improvement to optimize productivity and resource utilization
• Monitor production results through KPI analysis and propose data-driven improvements
• Ensure production complies with quality, environmental, and safety requirements

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Civil, Bachelor, or High School level) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economics, Materials Technology, Production Technology, Logistics, or equivalent
• At least 2–3 years of experience in production-related roles within manufacturing industry
• Experience in production development, process technology, or industrialization
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production flows
• Experience with improvement work and LEAN principles
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies
• Experience with SAP or other business and production systems
• Knowledge of quality assurance, FMEA, risk analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Experience in production preparation and work instructions
• Background in production development within automotive, energy, or mechanical industries
