Production Engineer (Integration)

About the Company

Traysar was founded by second-time tech founders, recipients of the Israel Defense Prize, and engineers from elite military units, the Boring Company, and SpaceX. Backed by Lux Capital and the founders of Anduril, Traysar is developing technologies for the 5th domain of warfare: the underground.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transition from schematic and detailed design to manufactured hardware
• Serve as the primary interface with external suppliers including CNC, fabrication, and hydraulics vendors
• Review and provide final manufacturing sign-off on mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
• Oversee on-site assembly, build sequencing, and tooling requirements
• Develop production documentation including assembly instructions and inspection plans
• Maintain tracking for part status, supplier lead times, and production schedules
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues to feed lessons back into design
• Support qualification and acceptance testing such as fit checks and vibration testing

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience
• Degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on training
• Experience working from 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Experience coordinating manufacturing of mechanical systems involving heavy equipment, hydraulics, or industrial machinery

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with NX or SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and DFM/DFA
• Experience working directly with CNC, sheet metal, welding, and 3D printing suppliers
• Hands-on experience overseeing mechanical assembly and integration on-site
• Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and supply chain issues under schedule pressure
