Production Engineer (Injection Molding)

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall process performance of the Injection department, including abnormality handling and troubleshooting production defects.
• Investigate root causes of defects and define corrective and preventive actions to ensure high-quality manufacturing.
• Coordinate the injection quality and engineering teams to define daily work arrangements and long-term improvement plans.
• Implement continuous improvement projects to reduce defect rates, material consumption, and overall operating costs.
• Define Production SOPs, working instructions, and relevant process documentation.
• Provide analysis and reporting on production KPIs to local and corporate teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S principles, and ISO management systems (ISO 13485, 9001, 14001, and 45001).
• Support smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) transfers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering within a related industry.
• 2-5 years of experience in plastic injection molding, including setup, operation, problem-solving, and mold maintenance.
• Engineering Degree in Plastic, Mechanics, Chemical, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab, and AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
