Production Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and production plans to ensure workplace safety and optimize processes
• Maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through cycle time and downtime reduction
• Analyze daily reports to identify safety, quality, and delivery gaps and develop countermeasures
• Utilize data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodologies to solve complex problems
• Monitor equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance while minimizing operating expenses
• Manage project implementation, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Test and implement new technologies to improve equipment and process efficiency
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S3R standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to provide hands-on equipment support
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
• Flexibility to work adjusted shifts and travel up to 20% (domestic/international)

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing co-op experience
• Knowledge of battery production processes
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, etc.)
• Korean language proficiency
