Responsibilities
- Build and refine scalable processes to meet increased production capacity
- Develop assembly and test equipment
- Proactively solve component and assembly issues to prevent production blocks
- Plan critical materials to ensure continuous product flow
- Organize production schedules and materials from suppliers to support R&D iterations
- Investigate defective products and implement corrective actions
- Utilize engineering principles to solve problems throughout the production lifecycle
- Continually improve production processes for quality, timing, and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain detailed documentation of production processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field
- Proven experience managing external partners, contract manufacturers, and suppliers
- Experience providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to product designers
- Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing
- Proficiency in generating production documentation, including BOMs and SOPs
- Experience with electronic resource planning (ERP) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Experience developing jigs and fixtures for mass production
