Production Engineer cum Lab Chemist

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cylinder filling station operations, including manpower planning and shift scheduling
• Ensure analytical compliance of raw gases and finished products according to company quality standards and ISO 9001:2015
• Perform hands-on operation, calibration, and maintenance of Gas Chromatography (GC-FID & TCD) and other analyzers
• Monitor and reduce customer complaints related to cylinders and product quality
• Maintain laboratory inventory, including chemicals, critical spares, and calibration gas cylinders
• Implement food defense plans and ensure compliance with FSMS, HACCP, and GMP standards
• Oversee industrial safety by conducting shop floor rounds and reporting unsafe acts or conditions
• Maintain all required quality management system (QMS) documentation, including COCs and COAs

Requirements

• BE, Diploma, B.Sc in Chemistry, or M.Sc in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
• 3-5 years of industrial experience, specifically within the Chemical or Pharmaceutical industries
• Proven hands-on experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) and various analyzers
• Strong knowledge of production operations and industrial safety protocols
• Ability to work in a 3-shift rotation
• Good communication and manpower management skills
