Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production setups for new projects and changes
• Drive improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and stability
• Analyze production flows and conduct time studies
• Develop and test solutions using CAD, 3D printing, or other tools
• Further develop workstations, equipment, and working methods
• Identify and initiate improvements through personal initiative or colleague suggestions
• Collaborate with project managers on the introduction of new products (NPI)
• Contribute to increased automation and smarter production solutions
• Work on cost and productivity improvements
• Ensure working methods meet quality requirements and standards
• Handle deviations, audits, and corrective actions

Requirements

• Technical degree (minimum Bachelor's level) in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or similar
• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Structured and analytical approach with a focus on improvement
• Solution-oriented and proactive mindset
• Ability to work closely with production teams
• Interest in automation and efficient production
• Strong collaborative skills
• Fluency in both Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Monitor)
• Proficiency in CAD, 3D printing, or other manufacturing solutions
• Experience in automation, production equipment, or NPI
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, or 5S
• Experience with time studies or production analysis
