About the role
Responsibilities
- Own core production processes for Base battery system assembly
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks through root cause analysis and lean manufacturing principles
- Develop, validate, and document standardized work instructions, fixtures, and tooling
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using production metrics and failure analysis
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products
- Drive safety and compliance, specifically regarding high-voltage systems and energy storage
- Leverage AI tools to automate and process manufacturing data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing or process engineering experience
- Experience with batteries, power electronics, or complex electromechanical assemblies
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and statistical process control
- Proficiency with PLC programming, MES, ERP, and jig/fixture design
- Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Python, JMP, or KNIME
