About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the physical and systematic movement of materials and hardware within assigned manufacturing cells
- Distribute correct parts and quantities to production and assembly areas to meet manufacturing needs
- Organize incoming materials and create proper storage locations using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Utilize SAP/ERP systems to locate, issue, and process material transactions, including stock transfers and inventory adjustments
- Initiate and close production orders, including packaging and delivering orders to their next destination
- Create shippers and deliver materials to the shipping department for outside processing
- Maintain accountability for product safety and quality in alignment with Company Quality Policy
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory, stocking, material handling, shipping, or receiving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or equivalent ERP tools
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 60 pounds
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing or inventory management
