Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage daily execution of released work orders within assigned production areas
• Monitor work order status and ensure production teams have necessary materials, documentation, and tooling
• Track and communicate production holds, shortages, and blockers to stakeholders
• Coordinate with Inventory, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve schedule issues
• Facilitate work order releases, closures, and status updates within ERP/MES systems
• Maintain accurate production status reporting for work-in-progress and recovery plans
• Monitor schedule adherence and proactively escalate risks to on-time delivery
• Assist with clear-to-build (CtB) reviews and readiness assessments
• Coordinate engineering changes, rework activity, and disposition actions
• Partner with Production Supervisors to maintain visibility into labor loading and execution risks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production control, or supply chain
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or wire harness manufacturing
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Experience using MES or manufacturing execution systems
• Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI, and large data set analysis
