Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the production schedule and work queue for antenna system builds and subassemblies
• Assess production readiness by evaluating material availability, purchase orders, and shop capacity
• Partner with purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve blockers
• Track production progress and provide updates on schedule risks and shortages
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure long-lead and critical components align with schedules
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, work order release, and throughput optimization

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination
• Proven ability to manage production schedules and work orders
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and interdependencies
• Experience using ERP, MRP, MES, or scheduling systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, space, or RF systems manufacturing
• Experience using Manufacturo
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume or rapidly scaling environments
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality requirements
