Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end magazine print production workflows, including pre-press, press, and post-press stages.
• Collaborate with editorial, commercial, and design teams to ensure timely publication and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Prepare and validate print-ready files, performing pre-flight checks and quality inspections for color accuracy and registration.
• Manage and track issue-based production schedules, maintaining flat plans and production trackers.
• Liaise with external printers and vendors to ensure smooth execution and operational efficiency.
• Support peak production cycles and press deadlines, requiring flexibility with working hours.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Printing Technology or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in print production or a publishing environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro.
• Strong understanding of color management, proofing standards, and print quality control.
• In-depth knowledge of magazine print workflows, including paper stocks, binding methods, and finishing processes.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (e.g., 11am–8pm or 12pm–9pm) and extended hours during closing periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic design skills.
• Knowledge of catalogue production using XML big data in Adobe InDesign for automated layout.
