Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules, assignments, and personnel direction for the night shift to ensure efficient product flow.
• Assist the Team Leader in daily communication and conduct thorough shift handoffs using a daily log.
• Act as front-line leadership by coaching floor personnel, monitoring skill levels, and identifying training gaps.
• Identify and isolate sources of production problems, taking corrective action under the direction of a supervisor.
• Monitor product quality and ensure items flow through the process in the correct sequence to maintain on-time performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by observing safe work practices and proactively reporting unsafe conditions.
• Report excessive equipment downtime to a supervisor within 30 minutes of the occurrence.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• Certified Manufacturing Associate.
• 5 years of service or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP CoMET and shop floor systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
