Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cable manufacturing through process optimization and flow enhancements to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment and staffing resources to enhance production performance.
• Monitor production plan compliance and adjust schedules as needed to maintain shift consistency.
• Ensure manufacturing associates follow all safety and housekeeping procedures to maintain a clean working environment.
• Minimize non-conforming product inventory by working with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams.
• Act as the primary contact for Planning and Scheduling regarding remakes, expedited orders, or special projects.
• Provide daily production status reports during shift turn-over meetings.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership experience (experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to analyze and prevent recurring problems in product flow and non-conforming products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CoMET, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to develop, influence, and motivate manufacturing associates.
