Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Review schedules and related information to identify overdue materials and track inventory
• Requisition materials and establish sequential delivery dates based on priority and availability
• Examine delivered materials to verify conformance to specifications
• Arrange the transfer of materials to meet production schedules
• Use hand trucks or forklifts to move or transport materials as necessary
• Compile and maintain manual or computerized records, including material inventory and in-process reports
• Distribute work orders and compile reports regarding work progress and equipment downtime
• Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance
• Confer with Production Leads and Supervisors regarding work progress and processing changes
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and support company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience in production processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and technical manuals
• Basic mathematical proficiency, including the ability to work with fractions, proportions, and decimals
• Ability to use various measuring devices to meet drawing dimensions and specifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using JDE (JD Edwards) system
