About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Design teams to translate seasonal trends into garment samples and manage product development strategies.
  • Act as the primary daily point of contact for overseas vendors regarding bulk approval, production status, and purchase order delivery.
  • Proactively mitigate delays by problem-solving with vendors and Design regarding sample yardage or trims.
  • Drive adherence to corporate and department-specific Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all production deadlines are met.
  • Manage data entry and purchase order creation with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in the seasonal buy process.
  • Review top of production (TOP) samples weekly and coordinate follow-ups with vendors.
  • Utilize Excel and Google Sheets to track, analyze, and report on development and adoption ratios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or an equivalent field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in the apparel industry.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data organization and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence peers and management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and hybrid work environment.
