Production Controller

Responsibilities

• Launch, coordinate, and control the progress of manufacturing orders according to the production schedule.
• Plan and organize manufacturing orders for various components.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operations are executed within specified deadlines.
• Provide weekly feedback on scheduling progress and operational constraints.
• Define and implement action plans to resolve issues related to component deliveries.
• Ensure a continuous flow of parts to the production line.
• Participate in production meetings to represent the Supply Chain department.
• Contribute to the verification of Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing data in collaboration with methods teams.
• Promote and respect Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules.

Requirements

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or operational supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Strong knowledge of industrial planning, logistics, inventory management, and material planning.
• Proficiency with MRP and production scheduling tools.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work autonomously and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work onsite in La Pocatière, QC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of a language other than French to facilitate communication with international partners and clients.
