Production Control Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production control plans aligned with demand forecasts and customer requirements
• Convert MRP signals into actionable production orders and material requirements
• Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times to optimize stock and minimize excess
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to create accurate production schedules
• Identify and mitigate capacity constraints to maintain efficient manufacturing workflows
• Monitor and report key performance metrics related to scheduling, inventory, and forecast accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production delays, material shortages, or supplier disruptions

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or inventory control within manufacturing
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS/ASCM certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma practices
