Production Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop plant scheduling strategies to maximize capacities and support customer needs for assigned products.
• Serve as a primary liaison between production, supply chain, and manufacturing groups to ensure all product requirements are met.
• Initiate studies to review alternative scheduling options to increase efficiency and yields, such as analyzing low runner versus high runner SKUs.
• Maintain a perpetual capacity and constraint database for all facility equipment and monitor O.E.E. (Overall Equipment Efficiencies).
• Analyze data to identify constraints and make recommendations to improve lead times and product flow.
• Develop metrics and communication tools to measure the effectiveness of scheduling and its impact on sales and inventory.
• Manage product flow through the facility from molding to shipping and monitor insert inventories.
• Provide accurate data to customers regarding yield, service levels, and other requested information.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a high-volume SKU inventory production scheduling environment.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
