Production Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive daily production and purchasing efficiencies by releasing orders based on material availability and demand requirements
• Follow up with suppliers regarding material availability to ensure on-time performance and support production needs
• Coordinate premium shipments and communicate expected arrival dates to the receiving location and Materials Manager
• Update SAP production schedules, shipment information, and material records including lot sizes and safety stocks
• Resolve production and purchasing problems related to material usage and availability through proactive problem-solving
• Collaborate with Master Schedulers and Commodity Managers to understand supplier capacities and minimize past due orders
• Maintain material and procurement strategies for new product introductions (NPI) and product phase-outs
• Monitor customer service metrics and analyze performance gaps related to assigned product groups

Requirements

• BA in Operations, Materials, Business, or equivalent experience
• Experience in material control, production/purchasing planning, or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical aptitude and ability to make decisions with limited information
• Proficiency in SAP or similar advanced manufacturing systems planning software
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
