Production Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, technical guidance, and operational support to the manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Oversee production stages including synthesis, cleavage, cyclization, conjugation, purification, and lyophilization.
• Train team members on equipment operation, SOPs, safety standards, and 5S practices.
• Install, operate, and maintain scientific manufacturing equipment such as HPLC/UPLC systems, reactors, and diafiltration systems.
• Review Batch Production Records (BPRs), logbooks, and other quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Initiate and investigate quality events, including Deviations and CAPAs, using technical expertise.
• Ensure seamless information transfer across shifts and lead production huddle meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing and related documentation standards.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, transformations, and the properties of substances.
• Experience working safely with hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a rotating shift (Wed-Sat or Thu-Sat) from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience using SAP.
