Production Clerk

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of the department production schedule
• Gather and review manufacturing data to resolve material and capacity discrepancies
• Translate anticipated demand into production and purchase orders for suppliers
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery
• Process change notices and fulfill replacement part orders
• Monitor daily attendance and complete daily MDI reports
• Facilitate orientation for new hires and assist with production as needed
• Create purchase requisitions for department supplies using the purchasing system
• Perform regular safety inspections

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a comparable administrative or production role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with MRP systems (AS400 preferred)
• Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel to present meaningful information
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
