Production Cell Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities and output within the assigned production cell to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Communicate production priorities, goals, and daily targets to all team members
• Coach and mentor individuals within the cell and assist with personal development plans
• Identify daily production requirements and prioritize work assignments accordingly
• Lead continuous improvement events and maintain 6S compliance through monthly area audits
• Provide detailed feedback on tester yields and product performance to support staff
• Update performance metrics and present data during daily Gemba walks
• Escalate any deviations from defined processes or production impacts to the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Distribution Center environment
• At least 1 year of experience as a senior warehouse operator
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Proven ability to be a confident decision-maker and effective resource planner
