Production & Capacity Planner

Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate an accurate production capacity database for all supplier factories and products
• Proactively identify potential capacity constraints, production risks, and inefficiencies to drive timely resolutions
• Collaborate directly with suppliers to address capacity-related challenges and ensure on-time shipments
• Coordinate with Local Sourcing and US Demand Planning teams to reconcile tooling discrepancies and align production priorities
• Generate and analyze monthly forecast reports and work with overseas Supply Planning teams to align capacity goals
• Conduct weekly meetings with overseas Planners to review demand forecasts, production status, and potential risks
• Manage new program inquiries with suppliers and internal teams through to BPO release
• Lead monthly in-person reviews with suppliers to secure firm execution commitments
• Conduct regular on-site factory visits to validate production capacity and assess tooling and process risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field, preferably focused on Supply Chain
• 5+ years of experience in a supplier production and capacity planning role
• Proven experience analyzing tooling, production, and overall factory capacity
• Experience with order and pre-build production planning and progress tracking with suppliers
