About the role
Responsibilities
- Support Final Assembly Line (FAL) production by defining, developing, and validating automation software for satellite assembly.
- Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications and support SCADA development linked to manufacturing routing.
- Analyze and implement corrective actions for non-conformities related to FAL station automation or SCADA.
- Collaborate with design engineering and customer teams to define FAL design and manufacturing processes.
- Specify and manage validation procedures for integrated FAL stations, including smart tools and automated sequences.
- Act as the technical interface for automation software suppliers and internal engineering teams.
- Train FAL operators on assembly processes and station usage.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC automation programming using LADDER logic.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI application development (e.g., Wonderware/AVEVA).
- Strong knowledge of industrial architecture (centralized/decentralized, I/O deported).
- Proficiency in SQL database management (Microsoft SQL Server).
- Software development skills in C# or VB.NET.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC DA/UA, TCP/IP).
- Ability to interpret industrial pneumatic and electric drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in satellite manufacturing or aerospace production.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation (Studio5000) or similar PLC platforms.
- Familiarity with smart tools (Desoutter), cobots (KUKA), or automated inspection systems (Lynx).
- Experience with SAP or Solidworks Composer.
- Background in mechanical or production engineering.
