Production Attendant

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, including packaging, conveying, and filling equipment
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) without deviation
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes against specifications
• Perform routine equipment adjustments using various hand tools
• Operate lift trucks to move materials throughout the shift
• Complete production records and documentation accurately and neatly
• Assist with equipment change-overs, cleaning (CIP/SIP), and setup
• Perform manual palletizing, product reclaim, and rework operations
• Adhere to all occupational health, safety, and food safety requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in food manufacturing (dairy experience preferred)
• Strong math skills and proficiency with computers and data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and 40+ lbs with assistance
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and humidity
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 facility, including rotating shifts, weekends, and nights
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check
