Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform support functions including material handling, assembly, and inventory maintenance
• Use hand tools to assemble small component parts and meet production quotas
• Prepare rails by attaching gaskets, hardware, and setting blocks
• Pull materials for manufacturing and maintain accurate physical inventory records
• Inspect parts for quality, checking for scratches, dings, or dents
• Assist with moving materials, operating mobile equipment, and supporting the warehousing team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
• Previous experience working with hand tools
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to read a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or construction
• Ability to obtain certification for powered industrial trucks (forklift, aerial lift, etc.)
• Ability to obtain certification for operating overhead cranes
• Experience reading shop drawings
• General computer skills
