Production Associate Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production functions, including assigning work schedules, tasks, and monitoring quality.
• Manage fluctuating workloads to ensure effective departmental operations and meet production targets.
• Train team members and provide informal coaching and problem resolution.
• Prepare direct and indirect materials via work orders for production consumption.
• Proactively seek process, cost, and quality improvements while monitoring products to ensure standards are met.
• Perform corrective actions to prevent production issues such as scrap and defects.
• Maintain high levels of safety and housekeeping standards on the production floor.
• Track and collect process data to monitor key performance indicators and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on a production floor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and prioritization skills.
