Production Associate I

Responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing of MatTek tissue models according to established SOPs
• Prepare various media and supplements using sterile techniques
• Perform cell culture tasks including trypsinizing and counting cells
• Coat, cure, sterilize, and package cell inserts
• Conduct quality assurance testing via pH, osmolality, and endotoxin testing
• Assist with product shipping, including packing boxes and ensuring content consistency
• Perform general laboratory duties and assist with laboratory assistant tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology or equivalent with no previous work experience
• OR an Associate's degree in biology or equivalent with 2+ years of hands-on cell culture experience
• Basic knowledge of aseptic technique
• Ability to work onsite in Ashland, MA
