Production Associate - Finishing

Responsibilities

• Perform various production support functions including material handling and assembly using hand tools
• Prepare rails by attaching gaskets, hardware, and setting blocks
• Pull materials for manufacturing and maintain physical inventory records
• Prep parts for the finishing process and move extrusions in and out of ovens
• Remove bars from dip tanks and hang them on racks for drying
• Conduct quality inspections to identify damaged or scratched materials
• Assist with housekeeping, organization, and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
• Previous experience working with hand tools
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to read a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or construction
• Ability to obtain certification to operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, aerial lift, etc.)
• Ability to obtain certification to operate overhead cranes
• Experience reading shop drawings
• General computer skills
