Responsibilities

• Serge samples using a serging machine for customer distribution
• Operate cut table machines and cutting equipment to create samples from carpet rolls
• Heat seal labels to correctly identify each sample
• Review work orders with high attention to detail to select correct samples
• Process sample returns and help manage sample inventory

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-related experience in fabric, carpet, or manufacturing
• Experience driving a forklift or pole truck
