Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Set up dies, extrusion machines, and auxiliary equipment
• Observe machine operation to detect profile defects or malfunctions
• Adjust operating conditions such as heater, water, vacuum, and pressure settings
• Conduct quality checks using precision calipers to measure product dimensions
• Move finished profiles and prepare skids for shipment
• Perform minor machine maintenance including lubrication and cleaning dies
• Document machine gauge readings on run sheets
• Perform Oracle transactions to track material inventory levels
• Train and mentor stackers

Requirements

• Successful completion of OSHA mandated fork truck training
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand on concrete flooring for 12+ hours per day
• Ability to push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb
• Basic math and computer skills
