Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks as directed by the department supervisor or team lead
• Engage in the assembly process using sewing, cutting, clipping, and hooking techniques
• Affix labels and tags to products and packaging
• Prepare finished goods for shipping by packing them effectively
• Monitor production progress on schedule boards
• Report equipment or material discrepancies to the supervisor
• Organize finished products on assigned pallets
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace
• Assist with hemming and relocation of materials using overhead cranes and forklifts
• Inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards
• Provide cost-saving suggestions to improve production

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow posted schedules
• Basic Microsoft knowledge
• Willingness to work overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or related area
• Experience with forklifts, banders, nail guns, overhead cranes, saws, or pneumatic equipment
