Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks as directed by the department supervisor or team lead
• Engage in assembly processes including sewing, cutting, clipping, and hooking
• Affix labels and tags to products and packaging
• Utilize scanning equipment and inspect work for defects
• Prepare finished goods for shipping by packing them effectively
• Monitor production progress on schedule boards
• Report equipment or material discrepancies to supervisors
• Assist with hemming and relocation of materials using overhead cranes and forklifts
• Provide cost-saving suggestions to improve production

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to read a tape measure, write, and follow schedules
• Basic Microsoft knowledge
• Willingness to work overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related manufacturing area
• Experience with forklifts, banders, nail guns, overhead cranes, saws, or pneumatic equipment
