About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate various CNC controlled machines including presses, lasers, and rolling mills
- Utilize scanning equipment for production tracking
- Inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards
- Provide cost saving suggestions to improve production and eliminate waste
- Maintain a safety-first mindset and act as a positive role model
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
- Ability to read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules
- Basic Microsoft knowledge
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a related production area
- Experience with forklifts, banders, nail guns, overhead cranes, saws, or pneumatic equipment
