Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist mill operators and operate side loaders
• Perform warehouse duties including banding and clearing lines
• Mark part numbers, order numbers, and piece counts on parts
• Attach identification tags to products
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
• Provide cost-saving suggestions to improve productivity
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum one year of manufacturing or comparable work experience
• Minimum one year operating manufacturing machinery or equipment
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring gauges
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
