About the role
Responsibilities
- Select proper glass batch on Optimizer Table computer
- Consistently hold cycle time
- Assist in movement of carts in and out of production work area
- Communicate quality issues or mechanical issues observed
- Complete quality checks and observe quality of IG units
- Break scored glass and place into corresponding slots on glass cart
- Drop needed glass sheets on table without autopickers
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shift
- Ability to move large sheets of glass and carts
- Ability to measure with 1/32” precision
- Ability to use computerized equipment
- Ability to read and write to complete quality checklists and verify paperwork
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
