Production Associate 1

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble, lift, pick, and pack products
• Maintain material flow throughout the plant with a sense of urgency
• Follow defined clean-up times and safe work practices
• Work to established rates based on customer demand and standardized operations
• Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality
• Identify and communicate production problems or issues
• Assist with training co-workers

Requirements

• Ability to read tape measures, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to operate power tools with dexterity
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds consistently for 8 to 12 hours a day
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, squatting, twisting, and standing for long periods
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends based on business needs
• High school diploma preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of WTS Paradigm
• Experience with various ERP functionality
