Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform studio, control room, and remote production duties including operating audio mixers, robotic/handheld cameras, and VMix production systems
• Prepare studio sets, microphones, lighting, monitors, and computer tablets for newscasts and live productions
• Assist with the production of digital content, live streams, podcasts, and online programs
• Ingest and prepare content for on-air playback while performing video and audio quality control
• Support station branding, promotions, and public service announcements
• Perform master control duties for live sports events and assist with remote productions such as community events and sports telecasts
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Requirements

• Experience with cameras, audio mixers, video switchers, and editing systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and maintain mobility (standing/walking)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new IT-based video production and broadcast technologies
