Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack and label prescription orders according to SOPs and shipping requirements
• Sort and stage orders by route, carrier, or delivery destination to support efficient distribution
• Receive and organize incoming materials and prepare outbound shipments
• Operate scanning and packaging equipment, including barcode scanners and label printers
• Verify order accuracy and ensure shipments meet quality and compliance standards
• Identify and escalate discrepancies such as missing items or damaged goods
• Maintain inventory of packing supplies and support workflow organization
• Follow all pharmacy regulations, safety guidelines, and hazardous material handling procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or production environment
• Experience handling inventory, packing, shipping, or receiving processes
• Ability to operate basic equipment such as barcode scanners and label printers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated environment
• Familiarity with temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials handling
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or shipping systems
• Certification or experience operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts
