About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate robotic cameras, teleprompters, and video equipment for live broadcasts and post-production
- Coordinate live and taped programming and maintain the professional appearance of studio sets
- Monitor multiple air channels to ensure regulatory compliance, quality signals, and FCC/EAS procedures
- Execute, edit, and update playlists while managing commercials, network, and local programming
- Ingest, time, and prepare content to ensure proper on-air playback
- Report equipment issues and transmission discrepancies to the Operations Manager
Requirements
- Proven computer and software experience
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for operating electronic broadcast and production equipment
- Ability to work onsite, including morning and weekend shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to television station operations and newscast production
- Operational knowledge of master control activities and functions
- Bilingual skills
