Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic cameras, teleprompters, and video equipment for live broadcasts and post-production
• Coordinate live and taped programming and maintain the professional appearance of studio sets
• Monitor multiple air channels to ensure regulatory compliance, quality signals, and FCC/EAS procedures
• Execute, edit, and update playlists while managing commercials, network, and local programming
• Ingest, time, and prepare content to ensure proper on-air playback
• Report equipment issues and transmission discrepancies to the Operations Manager

Requirements

• Proven computer and software experience
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Aptitude for operating electronic broadcast and production equipment
• Ability to work onsite, including morning and weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to television station operations and newscast production
• Operational knowledge of master control activities and functions
• Bilingual skills
