About the role
Responsibilities
- Cut video and SOTs with varying degrees of difficulty
- Create topical graphics to correspond with news of the day segments
- Compile research on topics discussed in the show
- Assist anchors with pre-show preparation
- Assist segment producers with gathering elements for air
Requirements
- Prior television or similar production experience
- Knowledge of business news, politics, and current events
- Ability to work collaboratively under intense deadline pressure
- Ability to work independently and pivot at a moment's notice
- Willingness to listen and grow from constructive criticism
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study
