Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Act as the local lead for all pre-production and show management aspects
• Review AV materials and analyze scripts/cue sheets
• Proofread and translate scripts and production materials from English to Hungarian
• Handle venue scouting, inspections, and preparation of physical props
• Manage show-control via QLab 5 to ensure synchronized execution of cues
• Direct live execution by coordinating staff and actors for entry/exit cues
• Manage digital/manual voting systems and coordinate verdict delivery
• Resolve technical issues in real-time to ensure show fluidity

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in live entertainment, theater, or event production
• Strong background in Show Calling and stage management
• Must own a Mac laptop and be autonomous in using QLab
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Hungarian
• Proficient English for liaison with the Italian production team
• Deep familiarity with the local Hungarian scene (venues, agencies, AV partners)
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
