About the role
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electromechanical products following work instructions
- Troubleshoot small electromechanical products including cameras, sensors, and logic modules
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and test equipment
- Document manufacturing issues, failures, and tooling malfunctions
- Interpret engineering prints and schematics
- Develop production documents such as work instructions and checklists
- Train production employees on safety, quality, and internal processes
- Support safety and quality initiatives including 5S, ESD, and FOD
Requirements
- Highly skilled electromechanical technician
- Proficiency with small hand tools for intricate electrical component assembly
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lift more than 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment
- Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems
