Production Assembly Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in accordance with company policies, ensuring adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Manage staff scheduling, including work assignments, rotations, training, and vacation planning
• Forecast departmental requirements for staffing, training, and equipment
• Ensure product quality and adherence to quality process requirements through instruction and corrective actions
• Conduct daily shopfloor management and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Plan and review production schedules based on forecasts to meet customer requirements
• Perform employee performance coaching, annual reviews, and merit increase processes
• Develop and improve operational procedures, organizational structures, and working practices

Requirements

• Minimum 4-year technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Strong experience in project management and Lean methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of SAP or other MRP systems
